Our Approach to Standards-Based Teaching and Learning: The following prototype standards-based lessons and assessments illustrate our strategy for improving teaching and student achievement in our school. Each teacher planned, taught, scored, and analyzed the results of these lessons. This data-driven strategy provides each teacher and our Instructional Management Team with classroom data about our progress to meet No Child Left Behind AYP measurable objectives and Maryland High School Assessment graduation goals in our school improvement plan.

Permission is granted to copy our teachers' lessons and results as long as proper acknowledgement is made in any reproductions or adaptations to recognize the original work of our teachers. Accordingly, you may adopt or adapt them for your school. We welcome your comments for improvement. Click on a teacher's name to send your suggestions and comments directly to the teacher. On the menu above, click "Instructional Management" for more information about our standards-based approach. And click "Contact Us" to send a message to our school principal. We will add more lessons and assessments during this school year -- check back soon. We look forward to hearing from you.
